It’s been a while since I wrote a blog post. In fact, it’s been a whole year! How time flies?!

And do you know where a majority of that time has been taken up? Yep, you guessed it, on Social Media.

When I looked at my phone usage recently, it said 5 hours a day! That’s crazy! And most of that I suspect has been on Social Media! (Not good for my eyes, my posture, or my brain!)

I’ve been creating content on Instagram since 2018 and it’s only recently dawned on me, I’ve wasted a good part of my life: trying to come up with daily content; scrolling through the feed looking at other accounts; comparing my account to others; and not really achieving any of my goals!

So I have set myself a goal to limit the time I spend on there and do more of the things I love, like writing more blog posts, getting out in nature, learning new stuff, and spending quality time with family and friends.

And with all this new spare time I plan to write a blog post at least once a month and if I get into my groove, maybe once a week.

I always have soooo much going on in my brain so why not get it all out on paper (well digitally anyway!)
