I have been meditating for a long time now and it’s really helped me get through some difficult times in my life.
So I thought it might help you with anything you may be struggling with at the moment.
Meditation doesn’t have to be a complex process of sitting in the lotus position and trying to clear your mind. It’s impossible to clear your thoughts completely!
Meditation is all about getting into a relaxed state and observing what you are thinking.
The best way to start to meditate is to focus on your breath.
It starts with three conscious breaths.
What do I mean by that? Well, the next time you take a breath, focus on your breath going in and out.
Breathe in Slowly
Breathe out Slowly.
Do this three times.
This will instantly start to relax you.
Then throughout your day, remind yourself to do this simple task.
You might schedule a time on your phone to remind you to do this a few times a day.
I will be adding more to this section in due course. But if you make a start with this simple technique, I know it will help you.
