Christmas = Family

As I got on the plane this trip to travel to Australia for Christmas, it dawned on me that Christmas Is all about spending time with your family and friends. I know that might seem like stating the obvious, but that truly is what Christmas or any celebration is about. It’s about connecting with all those people you love. Yes they might push your buttons at times but I firmly believe that we are all here to help one another grow, change and evolve into better versions of ourselves. When you see how many people around the world travel at this time of the year to be with their family and friends, there must be more to it than wanting to give them presents. Underneath it all it’s about reconnecting with those you might not have seen for a while and the unconditional love we really have for one another. Why else would we be drawn to travel thousands of miles around the globe to see one another?

Wishing You All A Merry Christmas and A Wonderful, Happy New Year!

    Thank you Dimitie for your Christmas and New Year wishes. You
    are right this season is the time to catch up and to be with their loved ones.
    Some have to travel a long distance for the reunion. It is also the time
    for giving presents especially to the children who are as ever excited
    and looking towards it. Well in my case, my daughter and family have
    come down here to spend their Christmas.
    Hope you have a nice Christmas with your loved ones.
    Wish you and your family Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

      Hi Gopi, yes indeed. I love going to buy the presents for the kids, family and friends. It’s not the giving of the presents that’s special, it’s the reminder from me to them of how much they mean to me and how much they are loved. It’s about acknowledgement of their presence in this world. Presents = Presence. Enjoy the time with your beautiful family.
